    Well, youve set out on an interesting journey..
I'm heading into work right now, so I don't have much time currently, but
later..
For starters, find a computer with web access and get to
http://metalab.unc.edu/LDP
and look for the HOWTOs
In addition, _any_ O'Reilly books are an excellent starter.
under /usr/doc/HOWTO is another set of HOWTO (under /usr/doc/HOWTO/mini
are the mini howtos)
docs, but they probably are not as up to date as those on the LDP, but
they should get you started.
There aren't alot of us here at the PLU G list that have a whole lot of
experience with Mandrake,  so you may have to do alot on your own..
Who are you using for an ISP?
