One other LUG list I'm on has apparently had problems in the past with headhunters spamming the list and have stated that all job postings must go through a LUG officer, but we haven't had that problem. Hell, we don't even have officers. :) IMO, Hugh's post is very relevant, considering that it's open-source development. So, to be redundant, no, I have no problem with it, as long as we don't start getting 5 per day from employment agencies. Go get 'em, Hugh.
