[PLUG] Corel will be partly owned by MS after Inprise merger...

A little something I picked up on Slashdot... an article entitled
"Strange Bedfellows: Microsoft will own 4% of Corel/Inprise"

http://AboutLinux.com/art_mslinux_d.html

The upshot of this is that last June MS payed Inprise $100 million to
license some of their software, and an additional $25 million to
purchase stock.

ObLinux: In case you've been under a rock, Corel has released a Linux
distribution based on Debian GNU/Linux which they're calling "Corel
Linux OS." ;)

Certainly an interesting turn of events...
