That is something that has been a major problem with the advancement of
linux on the desktop.  Honestly the only reasons I use Windows at work is
Outlook and a few games to pass the time every so often.  I have said many
times, if I can find a client that works like outlook and can view the
public folders as what they are contacts and calander, rather then an
email, I would use Linux or solaris at work exclusivly.
