At http://linux.3dfx.com/ they have (programming) specs and source for (I'm pretty sure) all their cards, at least the recent ones. I was at Micro Center earlier today, and I was looking at the Voodoo cards. I inquired about the Matrox cards, and they said that at some point in the recent past, Matrox went from being a primarily retail shop to being primarily a wholesale dealer, but didn't tell any of their retailers. A shipment came in, and all of the cards were in plain white boxes. You just can't sell plain white boxes, no matter how hard you try. :) He said that the only people that bought them were people that had done research and knew already that they wanted them. (He said that this happened to pretty much all the stores in the area.) They wound up marking the Matrox cards down to around $30 to cut their losses and get rid of them. Wish I'd have know about this. Damn! :) Bill -- (Clever, funny, and/or witty comment goes here.)
