Re: [PLUG] x install

My system (slack 7.1) does not know about 'X -scanpci'
X-probeonly returns:
grep failed
cannot find clocks in server output.

I tried to re-install xf86config,
same issues come up.
I tried to use just the svga server,
same issues come up
I tried installing just mach_64 server
same issues.
I'm using the default xf86 from the slack 7.1 cds which is 3.x.
No log files in /var/log/XFree86
Thanks in advance.
