-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 This may not be very well-publicized. I just signed up for Linux World Expo in New York and found out that SAIR-Linux is giving free review sessions and certification exams which would normally cost (they say) $5100. It is for all attendees who have more than the (free) exhibits-only pass. They are selling study materials for the tests at about $150.00 a pop, but the tests are still a good deal with that. Anyone with a fair amount of experience should have no trouble with the tests. Sample questions are here at: http://www.linuxcertification.com/resources/quizzes/ If these are any indication, I may even have a fighting chance. What's interesting is that, in the security section, they also test history (there's a question on who wrote the GPL) and ethics. Very interesting. They are also distro-agnostic. They ask questions about general Linux as well as several specific questions about several distros (Debian, Slack, Caldera, Mandrake, RedHat, etc). Anyway, I know Rupert was talking about LPI. Here's an economical alternative. I'll be trying it myself. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.4 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQE6OW44fl/jvXmUpXERAhbnAJwIvAxjxnYKp47BP2JlzOIDDqcb6ACfdjez hn4FsnrVPZxKWontTAXWIvU= =qtIE -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ______________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group - http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements-http://lists.phillylinux.org/mail/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mail/listinfo/plug
