If you've never used KDE before, give it a > try. I have to add my voice to this. I've been using KDE2 for a couple of months and it's great. I'm using KMail (supports PGP/GnuPG, no prob), KNode for news, and Konqueror for almost every website (I've kept Netscape 4.75 around just in case).
