Since I uninstalled the 2.4.0-0.31mdk that came from the CDs, and
downloaded the latest 2.4.0-4 kernel and sources from Madrake Cooker ...
nothing. :-)

This way, I did get the ReiserFS and Firewire patches already applied by
Mandrake.
