I just looked at it myself. I did a 'make xconfig', disabled "Experiemental", looked at "Filesystems", and lo and behold, there was much wailing and gnashing of teeth. I usually enable experimental and then *don't* select things labeled "Experimental" unless I have some good reason to do so. > Also, ReiserFS isn't considered "experimental" anymore, is it? I wouldn't consider it experimental either, having used it for some months now. Possibly, Linux just isn't 100% confident yet (but see http://www.reiserfs.org/testm.html), or the kernel developers (since I imagine they always answer "y" to "Experimental?") just haven't noticed yet. -- Bill Jonas * bill@billjonas.com * http://www.billjonas.com/ "As we enjoy great advantages from the inventions of others, we should be glad of an opportunity to serve others by any invention of ours; and this we should do freely and generously." -- Benjamin Franklin ______________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group - http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements-http://lists.phillylinux.org/mail/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mail/listinfo/plug
