Re: [PLUG] KDE Country code solved

I actually uninstalled Nautilus. The file preview (in icon mode) was nice,
but not enough to justify the really slow speed. Plus, it just seems silly
(to me - YMMV) that a file manager doesn't have COPY and PASTE menu items,
or buttons on a toolbar, by default. They recommend opening 2 windows, and
dragging and dropping between them, just to copy a file from one directory
to another? Seems needlessly complicated to me.

And I *STILL* can't get the damn Gnome 1.4 to log out; most of the time it
just sits there, and I can't click on any more icons, after issuing the
"logout" command. Eventually, I have to kill X, to get back to the command
line. I've posted to the Ximian help mailing list twice, but got no answers
or suggestions.

So now I'm using KDE 2.1.1, and using Gnome programs from there. Works
great - except for any Gnome panel applets - no place for them to dock
themselves into - but that's not a show-stopper.
