My server is also RH 6.2 and here is the content of my
"archive" directory where i supposedly put all the
mysql/perl files that I needed for DBI to work.  I can't
say which of these are the only required modules though, 
I dont think I needed to install all of them.
(got them from CPAN, and compiled them).  
I also had to install them more or less in a specific
order.  I think I start with DBI and when it complains,
I go back and installed the dependency first.  I suppose 
this would break dependencies with redhat's RPM
method though.
