It's an Addtron Technology 802.11B wireless base station. Just needs to be hooked up to power and a 10BaseT ethernet connection to the wall (that is, no special routing need be done). It'll run at all the variety of speeds allwed by 802.11 and 802.11B, and if your card is smart, it'll pick the right one for the noise in the vicinity and range to the base station. I've also got a wavelan card I'm not using, but I have a sneaking suspicion something's not quite right with it. (It was being uncooperative in a couple different other people's laptops recently.) -- ~ g r @ eclipsed.net ______________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group - http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements-http://lists.phillylinux.org/mail/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mail/listinfo/plug
