First, try changing the .wine/config file to tell wine that you've got a win98 or FAT32 file system for the C drive - it thinks it's FAT16/win95.


	You may wnat to update Gnome, but I don't think that's the problem.


I did try going into the directory the executable sits in within the windows
partition and did: wine winword.exe     The results were the same error
message...

	I think it's related.
