Re: [PLUG] Connection to x-server refused

At first, I thought that you had hit upon the solution.  Perhaps something 
I was launching from the KDE Panel was preventing the panel from working 
until I quit that app.  Then, I remembered that this happens when I launch 
apps from the terminal, also.  In fact, I only get the error feedback when 
I attempt to launch from the terminal.  When I try to launch from the 
panel, I get no error message.  Simply, nothing apparent happens.

Thanks to all for continuing to give me your ideas.
