As a sideline to part of the PDF conversation last night, see http://www.linuxgazette.com/issue72/bright.html which is about: "For many computer users stuck in the Windows paradigm, creating PDF documents means forking over precious cash to the folks at Adobe. However, this article will show you how to use Linux, Samba, and Ghostscript to provide a PDF creation service to both Windows and Linux users. Of course, all of this can be obtained for free." Obviously, not as robust as using Acrobat to create the PDFs, but hey ... it's a multi-platform alternative. -- Goodbye youth, goodbye dreams, The good times and the friends I used to know. Goodbye freedom, hello fear, A brave new world has suddenly appeared.
