RE: [PLUG] Desperate call for help - HDD problems...

Actually, the second idea is the one he's using. :^) It's difficult with
OEM drives, though. Sometimes the vendor will spec different models or
even different makes ... as the same part number. I've gone through three
different tech support people to get to an engineer at HP ... only to have
them ship me the wrong drive. I lucked out finding the identical drive at
Crocodile (when they were still open downtown) and the control card swap
worked perfectly.
