Re: [PLUG] kernel compiling woes


Take out the install CDs and add the kernel source and
headers RPMs. The check /usr/src/linux-2.4.x
directory.

There should be a .config file in there that has all
you need to compile a new kernel with RH defaults.
Just a note, when you compile a new kernel it will
give you the option to use an existing config file.
Just type in the path to the .config file as described
above and you should be set.
