Re: [PLUG] Star Office Mail help needed

Thanks all who helped with this. I'm disappointed that Sun decided to drop the mail client rather than fixing it. I liked the way that SO 5.2 saved messages. They were plain text (or HTML), so you could view them anywhere, but when opened in SO, displayed (and functioned) like mail messages. Rather than using folders, you could store them as documents with related business documents.

My version of KMail doesn't support HTML (which I get a fair amount of), and the newer version won't run in my version of KDE. I guess I have to finish installing that hard drive and update my distro (which I have put off for 2 months now.)<g>

StarOffice 6, at least, does not include an email client. Sun suggests
