Re: [PLUG] an rpm question for the apt-get crowd

Well, thanks for the suggestions,

I tried all of them:

$ rpm --initdb
$ rpm -Uvh muttprint-0.50a-1.noarch.rpm
Segmentation fault
$ rpm --rebuilddb
$ rpm -Uvh muttprint-0.50a-1.noarch.rpm
Segmentation fault
$ rpm -K --nogpg muttprint-0.50a-1.noarch.rpm
muttprint-0.50a-1.noarch.rpm: md5 OK

I ran rpm -qa | grep rpm

$ rpm -qa | grep rpm
gnorpm-0.96-5mdk
rpm-python-4.0.3-0.27mdk
rpmdrake-1.3-103mdk
grpmi-8.1-7mdk
rpm-build-4.0.3-0.27mdk
rpmtools-3.1-4mdk
rpm-4.0.3-0.27mdk
urpmi-1.7-14mdk
rpm-devel-4.0.3-0.27mdk
gurpmi-1.1-14mdk
rpmlint-0.35-1mdk

then:
$ rpm --version
RPM version 4.0.3

Where to go??
I'm thinking an install of SuSE 7.3 might be in order!!!

Thanks again!

Eric
