I'd have to rewrite my readers.conf but I'm half tempted to ask you for a feed of plug.*. Inn is a bit overkill for this, but it's free as compared to DNews (unless one is a student). Why don't you tell people how to do this? > > > You might want to try Gnus for mail -- it can be set to expire mail just as > > though it was a news group. Gnus is proof that "if your only tool is a > hammer, every problem looks like a nail." Yeah, but I know that Russ Allbery and a couple of other people swear by it. Slashdot as a gnus hieararchy is fairly neat, just as boring but without the ads and slower than pure nntp. On the third hand, INN when you just want a mail to news gateway is a bit like having a big scarey angle grinder and seeing all things as stuff to be ground down. Probably you should tell people who want to play with this how to set it up. I haven't done that. -- Rebecca Ore http://www.ogoense.net ______________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group - http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements-http://lists.phillylinux.org/mail/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mail/listinfo/plug
