Title: Intro/ Job Opportunity I am new in town and would like to make an introduction and make myself available as a resource to any of you that are currently in the midst of a job search. I'm a Recruiter for a large international consulting firm and an avid Linux Newbie. Having just relocated to Philly from the DC area, I'm really just settling in. We have a client in the KOP area that is looking for someone to be a security point of contact within their IT department. I can put the official posting out to anyone that requests it, but my description will be much more concise. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity. They are running in a mixed environment (UNIX and WinNT/2k) and are looking for someone to work with outside vendors, do a lot of documentation and spearhead security initiatives within the company. My insight is that someone with solid Unix/NT experience, maybe some security/ firewall experience would be a good fit. If you're published, let me know! The more exposure, the better, but keep in mind that the permanent salary for this will be right around 60k.
