I suggest checking with debian planet or the like before doing an upgrade on anything other than stable. www.debianplanet.net Or some other news source just to make sure that things aren't more broken upstream. On testing there are rarely any show-stoppers, but I heard that people had a great deal of troubles with their kde desktops during the change-over of package manangers. Putting the upgrade (for stable only) in a cronjob on a rarely used server works well, not that I know about the y option: always yes.
