[PLUG] IDE Tape Backup

Hello,
I'm setting up a server with a Seagate Travan 20 IDE Tape drive and I'm
having difficulty using it. RH7.2 loads the ide-tape module by default, but
all the documentation and software I have wants to use a SCSI tape. I read
that the ide-tape module locks the drive, which only a reboot without loading
the ide-tape module (instead load ide-scsi) will cure.

How do I do this? modules.conf doesn't have any mention of ide-tape. Is this
a boot option? Also, i'm using a Promise FastTrack100Tx2 raid controller to
boot with, so i have to send this boot parameter string in already
(ide0=0x1f0,0x3f6,14 ide1=0x170,0x376,15 ide2=0 ide3=0 ide4=0 ide5=0 ide6=0
ide7=0 ide8=0 ide9=0) in addition to loading the proprietary 'ft' module from
promise.

Thanks

Chris
