Re: [PLUG] linux sw install

In linux, i usually do, ./configure --prefix=${HOME} and it works fine.
There are some programs that NEED to have root access, like iptraf (which
monitors the network worloads, and other things). I had trouble installing
things in windows though, it always says I need to have Administration
privilages to install. Maybe it has to do something with the Windows
Registry (yuck!). If anyone find a way to install programs without Admin
accout, please let me know :).
