Sure, but when I wrote that I'd never heard of apt-rpm.

And, really, it's a rather trivial problem to solve. I don't think
it'd take much Perl at all. But I also don't care enough to find
out. (My workplace is paying for the up2date license for their
RH7.2 machines, I'm not thinking about it beyond that. :^>)
