If your sending mail to this list from Outlook, it
is not too difficult make Outlook wrap lines to
any length that you specify

tools > options > internet E-mail > wrap lines to
<fill-in-the-line-number-you-want-in-the-box>
lines
the lines won't be wrapped in your composition
window, but Outlook will wrap them before sending
them out
