[PLUG] Re: Newbie's First Question - Pertinent files

I didn't see a cdrom on the fstab.

If you don't have entry in /proc/ide, I can't help. But when you get one
(reboot, twiddle cable?) edit this to taste:

/dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom iso9660 defaults,users,ro 0 0

Can you do an

ls -al /dev/cdrom

and post?

Also,

do

ls -al

on booksmarks files and post. I think you have a perms problem, but we
need to see perms.

Glad that things are picking up w/ this pc.
