I find this very strange. That this can play so well in Windows and not in
Linux. I click on web pages in Explorer and I don't even know or care if
they are PDF or HTML. They just come up. I must say that I am happier when
they are PDF because they look and more importantly print properly! Have
you ever tried to print HTML pages? Half the time I end up in landscape
format because the right side is cutoff. Talk about freaking wasting time!

In my perfect world the whole damn web would be PDF. You could create the
page in whatever program/platform you wanted and it would look and print
the same everywhere.

Yes the content is the important thing but if I had my choice of
downloading Linux howto's in text, html or PDF, I always choose PDF.

No I do not work for or have stock in Adobe but they have a great product.
I use it extensively to archive documents. Nothing beats it. When you
archive historical documents the look as well as the content is important!
