I had an older version of the WPC 11 that worked flawlessly for almost a
year, and then went belly up (no lights, doesn't even work under windows). I
suspect that one of the chips inside overheated and fried (because it became
quite hot the last time it worked).

Picked up a v3 recently, but haven't spent a lot of time getting that to work
yet. It didn't work with the older wlan-ng drivers I have installed on my
notebook. Maybe I'll try to get that working later today.

Depending on how you have routing setup, you might want to bring eth0 down
while you're working with wlan0.

I haven't used DHCP over wireless under Linux. The Access Point may not be
configured to pass through broadcast packets (assuming they are even being
sent over the wireless link at this point). It might be interesting to try
setting up with a static IP first just to test the wireless link.

Ok, I'm curious, what's Libranet? Another Linux distro, but geared towards
Libraries? Or, is this libra as in free?
