Re: [PLUG] starting a program at boot

There should be an option to just start it at boot in the Mandrake control center somewhere. At least that was the case with previous versions. How did you install chilisoft? Was it a Mandrake rpm? If not you might have to do some manual configuration like has been suggested. If you have webmin installed that can help too and just point to the command to start chilisoft.

I am developing a website using Chilisoft on my laptop, and would like to start ASP service at boot. It has to be run as root. I am running Linux Madrake 8.2. Could someone tell me how to run a program as root at start up?

Thanks,
