RE: [PLUG] Anyone want to come over with a Windows laptop for Verizon...

I've been reasonably pleased with earthlink dsl. The nice thing about them
is you get 20 hours of dialup if you need it on the road, etc...

decent speeds, static ip, etc... for like $40/month. I don't know if they
"officially" support linux, but my box seems to play alright with their
network -- I use a d-link router for the pppoe part of things, though.

Haven't seen anyone mention them on the list, but they seem alright. Got
setup pretty quick, too, which was nice.

If there's a way to get the cheap ass PPPOE up and running without the
Windows
box in attendance, let us know.
