About the details...

Say I have a free Web site somewhere to which I want to point my domain. What I am currently doing is paying GoDaddy for the domain name plus forwarding. Now GoDaddy offers "masking" which should hide the Web server's real domain name and always display the forwarded domain name. How does that work? Is there a different way to make that happen?
