For some unknown reason the line becomes unstable after 'x' hours of usage and I seem to loose my IP, and the only way to correct this is to run dhclient again (or pump -i eth1) and establishing a new connection with the new IP. Has anyone ever seen this type of behavior before? My Mother is connected through Comcast Coatsville connection. about once a month the dhcp fails and all you have to do is reboot the router and it works. It seems either their system goes down periodically or they are seeing that you are up continously and pull the plug on you forcing you to reboot. Because my mother is in Downingtown, she cannot get dsl at her location :-( so she must have a dynamic IP address. -- Rev. LeRoy D.
