Haven't tried it myself, as I don't deal with S/MIME (and think
various parts of the standard are a bit wrong-headed... among them
how easily it lends itself to key escrow which, im(ns)ho, is a Bad
Idea; I'll give you three guesses why it's the standard that MS
decided to force on their users, and the first two don't count),
but you'd probably be better off checking out the current mutt
source, which apparently includes bug fixes to this code that won't
see the add-on for older versions.
