I believe the ISO's are taken right from the same CD's Redhat sells. You can copy and sell them but only to cover the cost of production and shipping. You can't sell copies for $50 but $10 is normally ok. Check out eBay there is a bunch of people selling copies of different distributions. Some even sell beta versions. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Paul" <paul@dpagin.net> To: <plug@lists.phillylinux.org> Sent: Thursday, October 17, 2002 10:07 AM Subject: [PLUG] Distributing Red Hat > Is there a license difference when it comes to copying the downloadable > version of Red Hat distributions and copying the retail versions? > > _________________________________________________________________________ > Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org > Announcements - http://lists.netisland.net/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce > General Discussion -- http://lists.netisland.net/mailman/listinfo/plug _________________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.netisland.net/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion -- http://lists.netisland.net/mailman/listinfo/plug
