I think it would appeal to any technical person who would like to see an in In-Place migration from Windows-to-Linux be possible. Microsoft made it pretty easy to convert from NetWare to Windows NT. Linux needs to be easy/convenient to migrate from Windows. The need to buy new hardware means it's going to be more expensive to migrate to Linux if you can upgrade WinNT to Windows2000 on the same system. The $800 license is cheap compared to the cost of a new server. > It would sound appealing to a *business* person, but how many technical > people would think it's a good idea? > > W.
