I have a RH 7.2 machine connected to an external Motorola cable modem via an ethernet card and an RJ-45 cable. There appears to a serial port on the modem (unused), and a coax port on the NIC (also unused). I have a peer to peer Win95 network. One of the two computers on the network will soon be converted to Linux. My goal is to set this up so that the three computers are networked and all have internet access. I have several questions. Do I need to install a second NIC onto the connected computer to do this? Do I need any other hardware? Will Samba, properly configured, handle this, or do I need additional software to share the internet connection? I don't mind reading up on this myself, but don't know where to start. -- _______________________________ Art Alexion Arthur S.
