The Serial ATA code has been around for a while now.. And of course, you can now get controllers and disks (at least from Seagate). I was thinking of building a home file server using one of the 3ware 8500 controllers and some Seagate 120G Serial ATA drives (4 drives in a RAID-5). Anyone here done anything with Serial ATA drives yet? -- Jason Costomiris <>< E: jcostom {at} jasons {dot} org / W: http://www.jasons.org/ Quidquid latine dictum sit, altum viditur. _________________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.netisland.net/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion -- http://lists.netisland.net/mailman/listinfo/plug
