[PLUG] excessive samba pings

My samba server is getting hammered.

I read about this in google, and it said that I might have a problem with
my samba server trying to be a pdc. Makes sense. I was. I shut that off in
my smb.conf file, but I still get this annoying errror:

Dec 31 10:00:22 wernicke xinetd[26494]: Activating service netbios-ns
Dec 31 10:01:00 wernicke CROND[19406]: (root) CMD (run-parts
/etc/cron.hourly)
Dec 31 10:01:13 wernicke xinetd[26494]: Deactivating service netbios-ns
due to excessive incoming
connections. Restarting in 30 seconds.

Any ideas?
