Have you re-run lilo on the new machine setup? LILO is often picky
about the number and location of devices on the IDE bus. You probably
just need to re-run it with the new machine setup. You can use the SuSE
boot disks to boot, then choose 'boot installed system' from the menus
(you need to know the root partition, ie. /dev/hda2 or whatever it is on
the new install), and once your system comes up, login as root and do
'lilo'.

Reboot and let us know what happened.
