Heh, Okay As you well know the install just stalls/bogs/stops/freezes at a certain point. I noticed that there is no hardware problem because I can send a large file (like a linux ISO), with no problem and with great speeds. I decided to constantly ping my gateway on a different terminal (alt + f2). I did about 12 to 13 pings (ping xx.xx.xx.xx &), and somehow it worked...Can't explain it, but it just works :) If anyone's got an explanation, let me/us know.
