Ewww. I guess I'm glad that we're making this kind of thing case sensitive (note that it makes *parsing* significantly easier), but it kind of sucks to change a standard on people like that. Oh well.

I don't know if upper case markup was a standard. The big letters made the markup stand out from regular text. Maybe people made upper case a convention due to the lack of a standard. The "tidy" program will happily change case for anyone who cares to do it.
