Re: [PLUG] Without OS X

Even in the mighty Windows OS it is sometimes necessary or desireable to download a device driver. Making everything automatic and transparent backfires when you want control or something goes wrong. Of course, doing everthing the hard way can backfire. Better to have a choice. Linux offers that choice, at least recently.

If you have to download a driver the 'it just works' is no more true. I
know a lot of Mac OS X (n -) users who have no idea how to download and/or
install a driver and this is this kind of user that want the 'it just
works' stuff.
