I have solved my gcc-3.2 problem. I wanted to thank all those who contributed advice. Your efforts are much appreciated. I can't really mirror it now, but if anyone emails me privately, I'll email you a tarball. It's fairly big, of course. I had a really good time compiling it. Basically, I had to compile gcc-3.2 from source, which I got at www.gnu.org. That was good enough for me, but they wanted an rpm. I had major problems w/ ada, which I never use, so I edited the spec file, then I used "rpm -bb" to compile it. I had to compile and install a bunch of libraries. The install process is still an unholy mess. I made a Makefile that seems to work for me, but it's really iffy. ssh failed after I installed gcc-3.2. Coincidence? Don't know maybe something to do w/ libc.
