Re: [PLUG] Samba - user mounting a drive

paul -fstype=smbfs,username=paul,password= ://krillin/paul

How would I control access and permissions for an automount like that? As is, it seems like anyone on my Linux PC can access this automounted directory with the same permissions that "paul" with a null password has. On the WinXP end two levels of access, read-only or read-write, are determined by the supplied password. The password is hardcoded and there is no way to differentiate between users. How is this supposed to work?
