Place a wireless router, or routing PC, on one floor and use a 
directional antenna to point up (or down) through the house.  
Theoretically, pointing a directional antenna up or down enhances 
security by reducing the signal leaving through the sides of the house.  
Also, the directional antenna will focus the signal in one direction to 
effectively make it stronger.  One directional antenna should easily 
punch through two floors.
