You might as well replace the power supply . Then, you could still buy a new PC and have two. Do *not* buy a PowMax power supply. My brother-in-law bought a generic power supply from CompUSA and it works fine. From what I've read, weight is a sign of quality due to the bigger heat sinks and such. Something over 300W would be reasonable since many new supplies are higher wattage. For an older PC there is no reason to go to a "premium" brand.
Well, my power supply just blew. :( _________________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.netisland.net/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion -- http://lists.netisland.net/mailman/listinfo/plug
