hey guys, so i installed the Firestarter firewall earlier this week, and all was fine however when i booted up my red hat linux 8.0 today, i connected to my Verizon DSL as usual, and opened my web browser (mozilla, or opera, either one) and can click/browse on the initial startup web page and go everywhere on that startup page links. However when I type in a different web address (or select one of my bookmarks) it sticks on "resolving host <whatever>.com" and it times out and doesn't allow me to browse. what's going on? i have firestarter 0.91 and am running IPtables. any help is much appreciated, tim _________________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.netisland.net/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion -- http://lists.netisland.net/mailman/listinfo/plug
