So there is a growing interest among Philadelphia non-profit organizations around open source technologies, especially among the NTAPS. But people need a place to learn and a place to play. 1. Does anyone know of any open source labs in Philly that are available for rent/training? 2. Is anyone interested in helping to build/support/train in a lab (probably LTSP type) in North Philly? The classes would be very basic in content, and aimed at non-profit workers, consultants and technical people. 3. We're putting together a community web space to discuss non-profit open source usage. It's meant to be a one-stop user friendly forum for people to exchange. Feel free to contribute or comment back to me: http://t4tbox.uwsepa.org/pnosc/ Thanks, Gary -- Project Coordinator Teaming for Technology United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania 215-665-2566 garyw@uwsepa.org http://www.uwsepa.org/team4tech/ http://www.thebeehive.org/philly _________________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.netisland.net/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion -- http://lists.netisland.net/mailman/listinfo/plug
